Did you know that Minnesota State Statute Section 169.072 provides that all items within two feet of the curb on curbed streets must be traffic safe unless a special license has been granted and included with the homeowner’s insurance policy.

What this means for Mankato homeowners...
When planning to install items, such as mailboxes or planters, between the curb and the property line, it is important to make sure they release when hit. This ensures the safest outcome possible should a car, snow plow, or other vehicle happen to hit that item.
