Traffic and Safety Committee
The Traffic and Safety Committee is an advisory committee to the City Manager. Commitee members review requests for yield and stop signs, traffic signals, crosswalks, speed limits, school crossings, driveway curbcuts, technical concerns related to citizens and city staff initiated traffic and safety items.
The City Manager brings appropriate recommendations of the Traffic and Safety Committee to the Mankato City Council. Composition of the committee is from Public Safety, Streets, Engineering and Planning staff.
The committee meets the second Thursday at 3:30 p.m. each month at the Intergovernmental Center, 10 Civic Center Plaza. For more information about the committee contact staff at (507) 387-8634.
