Everyone is welcome to participate by submitting original photos of Mankato.  Photos must be taken in Mankato city limits within two years of the contest year.  Winning photos may be used in city of Mankato communication pieces and on the city website.

The annual photo contest encourages citizen involvement and showcase Mankato’s quality of life and spaces and places.

To enter the contest, download an entry form and include your name, address, phone number, photo caption, who took the photo and where the photo was taken with each entry (limit of 15 entries) by 4:30 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 and send to:

Note: Any identifiable people in winning or honorable mention photos must sign a release form, or if under 18 years of age a parent/guardian must sign a release in order for the photo(s) to be eligible for use in city communication projects.
