  • The Late Night Express does not pick up individuals and bring them to the downtown entertainment district.
  • The service area is generally that geographic area contained within the boundaries of James Avenue, Stadium Road, Pohl Road and Glenwood Avenue.
  • There is not a predetermined route for the Late Night Express.  The driver will use his best discretion to determine the most efficient route within the service area at any given time.
  • There is no predetermined departure time for the Late Night Express.  The driver/police will make the determination as to the appropiated departure time.
  • The bus fare for this route is $1.00
  • The hours of operation are midnight-3 a.m.
  • The Late Night Express only operates weekends during the Minnesota State University, Mankato academic school year (fall and spring semester).
  • This route does not operate over the summer months (mid-May through mid-August) or during the 30-day break between fall and spring semesters.
  • In 2010, the Late Night Express transported 11,249 passengers.  This number represents an increase of 56 percent over 2005.  This ridership level to remain fairly stable unless additional service is added.
