The Late Night Express does not pick up individuals and bring them to the downtown entertainment district.
The service area is generally that geographic area contained within the boundaries of James Avenue, Stadium Road, Pohl Road and Glenwood Avenue.
There is not a predetermined route for the Late Night Express. The driver will use his best discretion to determine the most efficient route within the service area at any given time.
There is no predetermined departure time for the Late Night Express. The driver/police will make the determination as to the appropiated departure time.

The hours of operation are midnight-3 a.m.
The Late Night Express only operates weekends during the Minnesota State University, Mankato academic school year (fall and spring semester).
This route does not operate over the summer months (mid-May through mid-August) or during the 30-day break between fall and spring semesters.
In 2010, the Late Night Express transported 11,249 passengers. This number represents an increase of 56 percent over 2005. This ridership level to remain fairly stable unless additional service is added.
