Land of Memories ParkA rustic, relaxing camping experience close to Mankato. One hundred acres of beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife featuring 47 camping sites, with a variety of open grassy areas, shaded wooded sites and secluded spots to camp along the Minnesota River for both tents and recreational vehicles.

The campground facilities include restroom/shower buildings, electrical outlets, individual fire rings and picnic tables, picnic shelters, and playground equipment. A dump station is available for your convenience. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the hiking trails that wind along the rivers and through the woods. For those who like to fish and canoe, the campground is bordered by both the Blue Earth and Minnesota Rivers. Both rivers offer canoe routes, and a boat landing is available for access to the Minnesota River.

Land of Memories ParkThe camping rates for Land of Memories is: unimproved sites without electricity are $14 per day; improved sites with electricity are $17 per day; RV camping on sites with less than 50 amps is $20 per day; and RV camping on 50 amp sites is $25 per day

Other offerings at the Land of Memories Park include soccer fields used by local soccer teams on the west side of the park; an open area for Frisbee golf; bike trails; a boat ramp; and the new Floyd Roberts Pavilion that can be rented for many types of events.

The Land of Memories Campground is located just off of Highway 169/60 on the southwest side of Mankato.

Directions to the campground:
Coming into Mankato from the north
Cross over the Blue Earth River on 169/60 and proceed down the short incline. There is a sign on the right side of the road saying Land of Memories Campground with an arrow pointing to the right. Get in the right hand turn lane and turn right. Then take the first left. You will go up a small hill, over some railroad tracks and into the campground.

Land of Memories ParkComing into Mankato from the southwest
Entering Mankato from the southwest on 169/60 you need to go past the Highway 68 turnoff and continue on 169/60 down the hill for about half of a mile. You will see a sign for Land of Memories in the median with an arrow pointing left. There is a left hand turn lane at the bottom of the hill. After you make this turn take the first left, go up a small hill, over the railroad tracks and into the campground.
